View Larger Live From Chicago DVD A three-disc set, "Steve Miller Band: Live From Chicago" was released in May 2008. Filmed summer 2007 at Chicago's Ravinia Amphitheater, the live video captures the Miller band in full swing, opening with a near fifteen-minute version of "Fly Like An Eagle" and coming to a close with a spray of hits, "Rock 'n Me", "Take the Money and Run", "The Joker", "Swingtown", "Jungle Love" and "Jet Airliner."
The concert was filmed with more than 30 cameras before a sold out crowd at the historic hundred year old summer home of the Chicago Symphony. A second DVD disc features an interview between Miller and San Francisco Chronicle pop music writer Joel Selvin, filmed in the back of a Checker cab rolling around Chicago, as Miller recalls his early days on the Chicago blues scene.
The third disc is an audio CD that features some of the first new live recordings released by the Steve Miller Band in more than twenty years.
